Charmane MuMin

Charmane Mumin currently serves as an EAP Counselor for Optum Behavioral Health.  She earned bachelor’s degree in communications from University of Missouri-St. Louis and in 2014 obtained her master’s degree in counseling from Lindenwood University.     

Charmane has a background in social services and has worked with both senior and children services as a field social worker.  Building community networks for resources are has been her passion since starting her professional career with AmeriCorps and later with Missouri’s Division of Social Services. Charmane transitioned into therapy after ending a 15 year career with social service agencies.     

Since childhood, Charmane has always been fascinated with human behavior and is known as a people watcher by close family and friends.  This has served her well while working one on one with individuals professionally and personally. Charmane works with children ages 6 through adolescents, adults, and woman of all ages.
